Glucose: Glucose is a six carbon sugar molecule. Chemically: This molecule can be found as one of two stereoisomers D or L. It has either an, alpha or beta glycosidic bond. Glucose is an informal name of the family of specific molecules whose full names consist of the stereoisomer state, glycosidic bond and family.

How many types of glucose molecules are there? To answer this question, identify how how many parameters are associated with each glucose and how many states each parameter may have.
